Orient, WA - The Nine Mine Fire is located 4.5 miles south / southeast from Laurier, WA. This lightning caused fire started on Wednesday, August 4th and has burned approximately 139 acres of forested land. Evacuations: As of 1:00 pm on Sunday August 8th the evacuation level has been reduced to level 1. Level 1 is Ready, in the Ready, Set, Go, all hazards evacuation system. Ready means get prepared, changing fire conditions can change evacuation levels and you may need to leave your home. This level 1 notice is for homes on Imperial Way and Sand Creek Rd.  Road Closures: Nine Mine Rd. has been reopened to traffic. Use caution if driving this road and watch for fire traffic. Firefighters continue to mop up along the western flank. Monitoring remains ongoing in the area between Farewell Creek and Disaster Creek, as the fire creeps northwest in the Pasayten Wilderness. Sprinklers are in place to ensure structure protection at the Brevicomis Cabins and range related infrastructure. Isolated pockets of fuel in the interior will continue to burn. Inchelium, WA – The command of the Summit Trail, Chuweah Creek and Upper Lime Creek Fires will be transferred to Northwest Team 10 at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. The new Incident Management Team will continue providing fire updates and sharing information. All three fires encompass 652 personnel.Firefighters will continue to reinforce fire lines around the Summit Trail Fire. Most of the western, southern, and midway up the eastern flanks are contained with solid fire lines.  Crews will start to retrieve hose lays that are no longer needed in these areas. Warmer temperatures with low relative humidity will dry out fuels and cause an increase in active fire behavior in the Summit Trail, Chuweah Creek and Upper Lime Creek Fires. Two slop-over fires near Lynx Mountain in the Summit Trail Fire were detected on the eastern flank yesterday. Smoke remained visible around Lookout Mountain. Mop-up operations were priority, along with perimeter monitoring for any hot spots. Operations Today: The fire has entered mop-op operations, and crews will continue to monitor the perimeter for hot spots, completing mop-op where those spots present a threat to control lines.    Cedar Creek and Delancy Fires Daily Update August 12, 2021   Winthrop, WA — The Cedar Creek and Delancy Fires are burning on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and public and private lands within Okanogan County. These fires are being managed by Great Basin Incident Management Team 1.   Fire Information Line: Cedar Creek and Delancy Fires: 509-557-0740 (8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily)   Fire Weather: The heat continues today, with temperatures returning into the mid to upper 90s. Winds will start from the northeast, with a few gusts around 10 mph through 1200. Winds this afternoon will relax and shift more from the southeast, which will continue through the remainder of the afternoon.   8/12 Smoke Outlook   Special Statement The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for the area extending through Saturday.   Fire Cedar Creek, Cub Creek 2, and Muckamuck fires all became quite active yesterday due to the high temperatures and very low humidity. Much of the burning was in interior, unburned islands although Cedar Creek grew some along the difficult-toaccess west side in the Lake Chelan Sawtooth wilderness and Cub Creek grew to the north towards Pasayten wilderness. Acreage estimates for Cedar and Cub have not been updated since there was no infrared flight yesterday. Cedar Creek size estimate remains at 52,889 acres and 37% contained, Cub Creek 2 is 62,489 acres and 54% contained. Muckamuck is 1,237 acres and 0% contained. Residents are advised to expect another heavy smoke day in the Muckamuck Fire area. Winds will be from the north and northeast, which will tend to push any increased level of smoke in the Conconully direction. If you have health issues related to smoke, it is advised to reduce outdoor physical activity or remain indoors with windows and doors closed. Also, it will be another hot day, so if you remain indoors, leave your swamp coolers (if that is what you use for AC)

Warm, dry weather spurs additional Pincer Creek Fire growth; smoke anticipated over greater Puget Sound areaEverett, WA, Aug, 12, 2021— Fire managers are continuing to report growth on the Pincer Creek Fire, now estimated at 153 acres, as it creeps and smolders through heavy dead and down timber in the Glacier Peak Wilderness.  Bulldog Mountain Fire:  Yesterday firefighters observed increased fire activity due to the dry conditions.  Helicopters were used throughout the day to assist crews on the ground where the fire was most active.  Multiple pieces of heavy logging equipment worked all day to help lessen the fuel load along identified indirect and contingency containment lines.  Today fire managers are paying close attention to the weather as high pressure builds over the fire through Friday night.  Winds are predicted out of the north today at 4 to 6 mph with brief gusts from the north up to 15 mph.  Residents around the Bulldog Mtn Fire should remain vigilant and pay close attention to reliable information sources for current fire alerts.  Citizens are strongly encouraged to sign up for alerts at Ferry County Alerts.  Motorists traveling on the Boulder Hwy should be vigilant and watch for heavy equipment and firefighters turning off and onto the roadway.  There are 175 personnel assigned to...
