Beach Hazards Statement issued January 19 at 5:56PM PST until January 19 at 6:00PM PST by NWS Portland OR
The high risk for sneaker waves has diminished. However, an
enhanced threat for sneaker waves continues this week, so
continue to practice caution while on the coast. Beachgoers should
be on the lookout for waves occasionally running significantly
farther up onto the beach than other waves. Never turn your back
on the ocean.
