region from Monday morning through Monday evening. Isolated
storms will also be seen this afternoon/evening (before the watch

existing fires. Outdoor burning is banned during fire season.
* AFFECTED AREA...In California, most of Fire Weather Zone (FWZ)
285 including the Modoc National Forest. In Oregon, southeast
portion of FWZ 624 and much of FWZ 625. This includes the
eastern portions of the Fremont Winema National Forest and areas

.An area of low pressure will approach the Pacific Northwest this
weekend into Monday. This will bring increasing winds each
afternoon. While humidity values will also increase each day,
humidities will still be critical. This low will also bring
isolated thunderstorms to northern portions of 624 and 625, which
are not included in this watch.
The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday
evening.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREA...Most of California Fire Zone 285 including the
Modoc National Forest. In Oregon, southeast portion of fire zone
624 and southern portion of 625. This includes parts of the
Fremont Winema National Forest and the Hart Mountain National
Refuge.
* WIND...Southwest becoming west 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35
mph.
* HUMIDITY...9 to 14 percent.
