...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 284, 285, 624 AND 625... The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Friday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued and is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * AFFECTED AREA...For the Red Flag Warning, portions of the Fremont- Winema National Forest in Oregon Fire zone 624, Fire weather zone 625 in central and eastern Lake County, northeast portion of Fire Zone 284, and northern portions of the Modoc National Forest in California fire zone 285.
