Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Friday. A Fire
Weather Watch has also been issued and is in effect from Saturday
afternoon through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREA...For the Red Flag Warning, portions of the
Fremont- Winema National Forest in Oregon Fire zone 624, Fire
weather zone 625 in central and eastern Lake County,
northeast portion of Fire Zone 284, and northern portions of
the Modoc National Forest in California fire zone 285. For
the Fire Weather Watch, all areas.
* WIND...Southwest 15 to 25 with gusting 25 and 35 mph.
* HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated to scattered high based storms that
are likely to be mostly dry or have little precipitation.

weekend brings a risk of dry lightning startups.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 642 Southern Blue and
Strawberry Mountains and 644 Central Blue Mountains.
* IMPACTS...New fire starts with cloud-to-ground lightning
should be expected with any storms that develop. Gusty outflow
winds will threaten fires with rapid growth.
* THUNDERSTORMS...Any storms that develop will initially have
little to no rainfall.
* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts of 25 to 35 mph possible.

* HUMIDITY...8 to 12 percent.
