flood stage the forecast is, the flood warning remains in effect
through this afternoon due to nearby shower activity and the
potential for precipitation amounts to exceed the current forecast.
* WHERE...Coquille River at Coquille.
* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The Coquille River is at flood stage.
Expect flooding of farmland and low-lying areas throughout the
flood plain along the Coquille River.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM PST Sunday the stage was 20.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a

The first Winter Storm Warning includes the Illinois Valley and
Highway 199 from Hayes Hill Summit to the OR/CA state line and
the communities of Selma, Obrien and Cave Junction. The Winter
Weather Advisory includes portions of Interstate 5 north of
Grants Pass and Sexton Summit. The second Winter Storm Warning
includes areas above 3000 feet.
* WHEN...For the first Winter Storm Warning and the Advisory,
until 10 PM PST this evening. For the second Winter Storm

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations of 4 to 9 inches. For the Winter Storm Warning
above 3500 feet, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 6 to 12 inches, with up to 2 feet above 5000 feet. Winds
gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades,
including highways 66, 140, Interstate 5 at Siskiyou Summit,
Lake of the Woods, Howard Prairie, and Mt Ashland Ski Road.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 10 PM PST this
evening. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 10 AM Monday to 4
PM PST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Gusty
