8/18 Smoke Outlook (Muckamuck Wildfire)
Smoke Smoke conditions today are expected to be Good to Moderate around the forecast area. Cloud cover from yesterday continued to bring in cooler temperatures and higher humidity which moderated fire activity on all fires. Warmer, drier and lighter Northwest winds are forecasted today which will lead tomorrow active fire behavior. This has the potential to create more smoke that will settle into the Methow and Okanogan Valleys overnight and into the morning. Regional smoke from surrounding fires may also be contributing to impacts in the forecast zone. Smoke impacts will be heavily dependent on fire activity.
