ESFSEW An atmospheric river through Monday will continue to bring heavy rain at times, especially for the mountains. Additional precipitation amounts in the mountains will range from 2 to 4 inches, with locally heavier amounts possible. Snow levels will also remain near 7500 feet during this period. This will result in sharp rises on rivers. River flooding remains possible and we will continue to monitor rivers during this period. Skokomish River At Potlatch affecting Mason County. .Four to six inches of rain forecast for the south slopes of the Olympics through early Monday evening. Snow levels rising to 7500 feet. This combination will push the Skokomish River above flood stage. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Skokomish River at Potlatch. * WHEN...From this afternoon to early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, the Skokomish River will cause moderate flooding, with deep and quick flood waters inundating some residential areas, many roads, and much of the farm land in the Skokomish Valley.
