.Light snow will continue over the Spokane Area, Palouse,
Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, and Idaho Panhandle into early this
evening. Snow will taper off tonight with snow showers lingering
over the Central Panhandle Mountains into early Saturday morning.
The next round of snow will begin to move into the Cascades Saturday
afternoon.
* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch.
* WHERE...Fairfield, Post Falls, Downtown Spokane, Hayden,
Davenport, Worley, Spokane Valley, Airway Heights, Cheney,
Rockford, and Coeur d'Alene.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM PST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Periods of light snow into the evening will produce
winter driving conditions mainly on side streets and untreated
roads.

valleys along the east slopes of the Washington Cascades Saturday

Willamette Valley until around 10 AM.
* WHAT...Heavy wet snow. Additional snow accumulations up to two
inches.
* WHERE...Portland Metro Lowlands, Greater Vancouver Metro, and
Portland West Hills and Chehalem Mountain.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on
power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting
power outages.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional freezing rain accumulations
possible until 9 AM. There is a 10% chance of ice accumulations of
0.02 inch. Confidence is low in regards to where heaviest snow/ice
