For the Coastal Flood Advisory, tidal overflow flooding expected. * WHERE...Clatsop and Tillamook Coast, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 1 PM PST this afternoon. For the High Surf Advisory, until 6 PM PST this evening. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. Destructive waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and jetties and drown while observing high surf. Minor beach erosion may damage coastal properties and buildings. Pockets of fog and freezing fog have developed along the I-84 corridor between Boardman and Echo, with visibilities of 1/4 mile or less. The fog is expected to slowly shift east over the next two hours. Areas of fog and freezing fog have also developed along the I-82 and Hwy 240 corridor in and around the Tri-Cities area, with observed visibilities of 1/2 mile or less. These conditions are expected to persist over the next two hours as fog is slowly eroded by warming temperatures. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the these areas this morning due to localized areas of low visibilities and patches of ice.
