* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and water is slowly receding.
* WHERE...Malheur River near Vale.
* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water will flow over Highway 20 near
Harper. Numerous roads crossing the river between Harper and
Ontario will be flooded with water entering houses near the 36th
Street Bridge in Ontario. Foothill and Lagoon Drive near Vale may
flood if Willow Creek is running high. Extensive inundation of
farmland will occur between Harper and Ontario.

.Rainfall and snow melt caused the river to rise above flood stage
on Tuesday. No further rainfall is expected, so the river will
continue to slowly fall. The river is forecast to remain above flood
stage through Thursday morning, and then fall below flood stage
Thursday afternoon. However, it could hover near or just below flood
stage through late week.
For the Sprague River...including Beatty...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
to continue into Thursday.
* WHERE...Sprague River near Beatty.
* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Flooding of structures along the Sprague
River in the vicinity of Sprague River, Lone Pine, and down
stream can be expected. Widespread agricultural flooding is likely
in this area as well.
