Winter Storm Warning issued March 20 at 2:04PM PDT until March 20 at 11:00PM PDT by NWS Portland OR
A series of winter systems move in through the end of the week
bringing heavy snow to the Cascades. The ongoing system will be the
most snow heavy, while the second that arrives on Friday will be
slightly warmer with less accumulating snow. Snow levels rise Friday
night.
* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional snow
accumulations up to 6 inches. For the Winter Weather Advisory
above 4000 feet, snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 10
inches.
* WHERE...South Washington Cascades and the Northern and Central
Cascades of Oregon.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 11 PM PDT this evening.
For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 11 PM
PDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
