of 15 to 20 inches with up to 35 inches over high remote
terrain. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph over exposed terrain.
* WHERE...Elevations above 5000 feet in the South Central Oregon
Cascades. This includes highways 58 near Willamette Pass, 138
and 230 near Diamond Lake Junction and highway 62 near Crater
Lake and Crater Lake Park.
* WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult in the high Cascades and
impossible traveling to Crater Lake. Patchy blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will vary through the event
from 4000 feet tonight up to 5000 feet Thursday afternoon.
Snowfall rates could reach 1" an hour for long periods of time on
Thursday.
