Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 feet, with over 4 feet in the Douglas County Foothills, and 5 feet in the mountains of the Kalmiopsis wilderness. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected above 1500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches possible, with 12 to 18 inches above 2000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph. * WHERE...Portions of Douglas County, eastern Curry County and Josephine County and eastern Douglas County Foothills. For the Winter Storm Warning, this includes the Kalmiopsis Wilderness and portions of Highway 138 and the Tiller-Trail Highway. However, precipitation rates could be enough to overcome this, resulting in potential winter weather impacts. This will be a long duration event and snow will not be heavy the entire time the warning and advisory are in effect. Snow is expected to be heaviest Thursday through Thursday night and again Friday afternoon into Friday night.
