Areas of freezing fog will continue along along the Blue Mountain Foothills and the Oregon side of the Lower Columbia Basin through the early morning on New Years. The visibility of one quarter mile or less will be observed in some locations. A weather system bringing rain will arrive after midnight and will allow the fog to lift for most location.
