Special Weather Statement issued March 16 at 3:49PM PDT by NWS Portland OR

NOAA Current Watches-OR - March 16, 2025 - 3:49pm
The residuals of the atmospheric river continue to produce precipitation over the southern Willamette Valley and the Coast Range of Lane County. Cooler air continues to filter in with temperatures dropping around 1 degree F per hour. If precipitation rates increase, we could see snow levels drop enough to bring snow to the lowlands and Coast Range. However, confidence is low at this point with less than a 10% chance of measurable snow in the lowlands around Eugene. Areas around Cottage Grove will see around a 30% chance of measurable snow. In the case snow were to fall, slow down while traveling, use headlights, and leave ample space between you and others around you.
