conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow amounts will vary significantly across
the advised area. Areas in the far eastern Gorge, such as
Arlington and Biggs Junction, may see an inch of accumulation
mixed with rain.

inches, except up to 24 inches above 2000 feet and locally up
to 30 inches in eastern Skamania County. Winds gusting as high
as 50 mph, mainly near the Columbia River Gorge.
* WHERE...South Washington Cascades and South Washington Cascade
Foothills.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will range from river level
near the Columbia River Gorge and eastern Skamania County to
2000 feet in northern Cowlitz County. Heaviest snow above 2000
feet.

winds may lead to whiteout conditions at times. Gusty winds
