The Washington State Department of Ecology has issued an Air Quality
Alert...IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
A Smoke Air Quality Alert has been issued. Wildfires burning in the
region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to
reach unhealthy levels.
Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes...runny nose...aggravate
heart and lung diseases...and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it
is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

producing new fire starts.

Parkdale, or 9 miles south of Hood River, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

An Air Quality Alert has been issued for all of Yakima County,
including the Yakima Reservation, due to expected smoke from nearby
and regional wildfires...IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Particulate
matter (PM2.5) may reach Unhealthy or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
levels.
Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes...runny nose...aggravate
heart and lung diseases...and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it
is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.
