* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, the Skokomish River will cause widespread
flooding of pasture lands, with water flowing quickly over West
Bourgault Road and Skokomish Valley Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 PM PST Thursday the stage was 17.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon. It will remain near flood stage, then rise above

Patchy dense fog has developed through the eastern Columbia River
Gorge, reducing visibilities to at least half a mile, with denser

.Heavy rain has ended, however rivers continue to rise, pushing the
Satsop into Moderate Flooding.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Satsop River near Satsop.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, the Satsop River will flood...inundating
farms...roads...and some residential areas. Erosion will likely
damage some areas along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM PST Wednesday the stage was 40.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:15 AM PST Wednesday was 40.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will continue to rise a few more hours
and crest in moderate flood stage around 40.1 ft. The river

This approaches the flood of record.
* WHERE...Skokomish River at Potlatch.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, the Skokomish River will cause major, near
record flooding throughout the Skokomish Valley. Deep and swift
flood waters will inundate residential areas, many roads including
SR 106, and much of the farm land. Flooding will occur all along
the river including headwaters, tributaries, and other streams
within and near the Skokomish River Basin.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM PST Wednesday the stage was 18.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM PST Wednesday was 18.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is cresting around 18.1 ft and will
continue to slowly fall to near flood stage Friday. The river
will continue to fluctuate near flood for the next several
days.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
