Special Weather Statement issued December 14 at 8:32AM PST by NWS Pendleton OR
Pockets of fog and freezing fog have developed along the I-84
corridor between Boardman and Echo, with visibilities of 1/4
mile or less. The fog is expected to slowly shift east over the
next two hours. Areas of fog and freezing fog have also developed
along the I-82 and Hwy 240 corridor in and around the Tri-Cities
area, with observed visibilities of 1/2 mile or less. These
conditions are expected to persist over the next two hours as fog
is slowly eroded by warming temperatures.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the
these areas this morning due to localized areas of low
visibilities and patches of ice.
