* WHAT...Sneaker waves possible.
* WHERE...North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South
Washington Coast.
* WHEN...From 3 AM PST Saturday through late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...Waves can run up significantly farther on a beach
than normal, including over rocks and jetties. Sneaker waves can
suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them
into the frigid ocean which may lead to serious injury or
drowning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Keep children and pets away from the surf
zone. Keep off of jetties, rocks and logs near the surf zone. If
you see someone swept into the sea do not swim in after them.
Call 911 and keep an eye on them until help arrives.

...The National Weather Service in Boise ID has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Oregon...
Malheur River Near Vale affecting Malheur County.
.Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river
flows to become high. Expect minor flooding downstream from the
reservoirs.
For the Malheur River...including Vale...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Bully Creek, Agency Valley and Warm Springs Reservoirs need
to release water to account for anticipated snowmelt and runoff
for the spring. This will cause the Malheur River to exceed flood
stage for minor flooding through much of next week. As of now, the
anticipated releases is not expected to make the river exceed
moderate flood stage at this time. This will be monitor closely
over the coming days.
* WHERE...Malheur River near Vale.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, Flooding of some county roads near the
river will occur, including Westfall Road near Harper.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM MST Friday /8:30 AM PST Friday/ the stage was 18.6
feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
maximum value of 20.4 feet late Tuesday morning.

river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues and reservoir
releases is expected.
* WHERE...Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 1,000 CFS, the low water bridge crossing immediately
below Owyhee Dam will be impacted by high water and access to the
church camp may be cut off. River access roads and recreation
sites below the dam to the mouth of the canyon will be impacted by
high water. Low water crossings including Borge Lane and Bob Rice
Road will flood. Minor field flooding will occur.

Owyhee River Below Owyhee Dam affecting Malheur County.
.Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river
flows to become high. Expect minor flooding downstream from the dam.
For the Owyhee River...including Owyhee Dam, Owyhee Dam...elevated
river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Nuisance flooding caused by snowmelt and reservoir releases
is expected.
* WHERE...Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.
* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 1,000 cfs, The low water bridge crossing immediately
below Owyhee Dam will be impacted by high water and access to the
church camp may be cut off. River access roads and recreation
sites below the dam to the mouth of the canyon will be impacted by
high water. Low water crossings including Borge Lane and Bob Rice
Road will flood. Minor field flooding will occur.

forecast.

...Observed flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Oregon...
Malheur River Near Vale affecting Malheur County.
For the Malheur River...including Vale...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Malheur River near Vale.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water may begin flowing over Highway 20
near Harper. Numerous roads crossing the river between Harper and
Ontario will be flooded with water entering houses near the 36th
Street Bridge in Ontario. Foothill and Lagoon Drive near Vale may
flood if Willow Creek is running high. Extensive inundation of
farmland will occur between Harper and Ontario.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM MST Tuesday /9:30 PM PST Tuesday/ the stage was
23.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 PM MST Tuesday /9:30 PM PST Tuesday/ was 23.6
feet.
- Forecast...The river will remain above flood stage with a
maximum value of 23.2 feet late tonight. It will fall below
flood stage late Wednesday night.
