a concern in the afternoon and evening when humidity drops and
the wind is strongest.
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Tuesday.

Dense fog has been noted this morning across the area due to very
cool morning temperatures and moisture present. This fog will

producing heavy rain in Number 1 and Number 2 Canyons. Between
0.25 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

Flood Advisory issued August 23 at 4:17PM PDT until August 24 at 4:00PM PDT by NWS Seattle WA
Moderate rainfall has been occuring across the Easy Fire Burn Scar
this afternoon in Eastern Skagit County, and has lead to minor
flooding and debris onto Highway 20. This has occurred with
unusually low precipitation rates and amounts. Additional rain is
expected through Saturday evening.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by moderate rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northwest Washington, including the following
county, Skagit.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM PDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 410 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is already occurring in Along the Easy Fire Burn
Scar. Between 0.2 and 0.4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Areas of Highway 20 along the Easy Fire Burn Scar will most
likely experience minor flooding. Water and debris has been
reported on Highway 20.
