Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...West Slopes North Cascades and Passes, West Slopes North Central Cascades and Passes, and West Slopes South Central Cascades and Passes. * WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with snow and ice on the roadway. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of snow are expected through this afternoon, becoming steadier later this morning. Snow will transition to freezing rain by this evening, then to rain early Wednesday morning as snow levels gradually climb from 2500 to near 8000 feet.
